Year 2, Week 47: A Hint of Normal

We finally got to go back to a little bit of normal. Jonathan actually went out to Celina last week! It was hard to get back to staying home alone, but he was happy to get back out there to work with real live people again!

Monday night he had dinner with Graham and Dillon, which he very much enjoyed. It was hard for him not to see them in awhile. He stayed the night at Dillon's and I actually slept well and didn't have any issues. Unfortunately, I somehow contracted a stomach bug while he was away. I didn't feel well Monday, but was fine, then Tuesday I had to leave work because I got sick there. I was completely miserable, but very glad that he got home Tuesday night. When he got home there was a turtle making its way down the yard...so that was kind of fun! Made for a bright spot in the day.

When I woke up Wednesday I still felt terrible, but by the evening I was feeling better. We ran into town to get more Lipton Noodle Soup...just in case, then went to get milk at my parent's house, came back home and had dinner. I wanted real food, but didn't want to eat anything I love, just in case it came back up, so we had hamburger helper and it was delicious and stayed where I put it. In the evening we played some gin rummy outside on the patio and enjoyed time together. Thursday we played games too! Black bean and lime bowls for dinner, then bananagrams and carcassonne.

It was my weekend to work, so Jonathan made himself some Swedish meatball pasta, then ended up coming to bring me some KFC for dinner since I didn't pack enough food. I felt so much better, but ended up really hungry after eating so little for a few days! Thankfully, he was sweet enough to bring me food...even in the pouring rain.

On Saturday Jonathan made me waffles for breakfast and then, while I was at work, he weeded, mowed, washed dishes, cleaned, started designing a table and talked to his family. He loved being productive, so it was a great day for both of us! We had leftovers for dinner and relaxed for the evening. Sunday I worked again, so Jonathan worked on his table, did some laundry, talked to his grandma and went on a run. We had leftovers again, watched church and then went to bed pretty early.

We have had a great week so far and hope you guys have too. See you soon, love you lots!

Love,

Alli and Jonathan
